10/01/22

Physical: Strong, above-average 6-foot, 190lb frame with feel. 7.44 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Spread, slightly bent stance, as the hands operated at a 45 off the shoulder. Utilized a knee-knock stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path towards a lifted finish. Created easy carry towards the LCF gap, staying inside the legs for a T95 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Middle of the order type of approach, all over the FB with imposing bat-speed.

Defensively: The first baseman showcased a lower, even posture at the fielding window, chopping the feet before getting set out in front. Kept the fingers downward over the front side, using a fast trigger to release out of a H ¾ slot (83 mph). Some positional flexibility.

Pitching: RHP. Plenty of balance off the middle of the rubber; compact delivery and smaller arm-circle that times up release into footstrike. Accurate thrower to the bottom of the zone at 80-83 mph (1719), mixing a short 68-70 mph CB with depth. Added a quality, fading low-70’s CH.

Consistent, moderate-effort approach, which barreled the ball often during his round (78% sweet spot).
