8/08/23

Physical: 5-11, 195 pounds; Muscular, sturdy build.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 77-80 MPH; arm side run. SL: 68-71 MPH; tilting break. CH: 72-73 MPH; fading action.

6/14/22

Physical: Compact, athletic 5-foot-10, 165lb frame with mound presence and feel.

Pitching: RHP. Starts off of the left corner of the rubber; simple, repeatable delivery that maintains a consistent pace down the slope. Some drop/drive available, blocking off the front-side firmly at release from a H ¾ slot. Commanded a 75-77, T78 mph FB (1593) with heavy action on righties and up to 17 inches of HM. Added a sharp 67-70 mph CB from the same window with late, lateral bite (9.5 inches HM).

2/27/22

Physical: Taller 5-foot-10, 165lb frame with room to fill, strength present. 7.73 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH - Open stance, bent into the backside leg, as the hands pre-set at the shoulder. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride outwards towards the pitcher, initiating the swing through a flat, quick path with high, tight turns. Recorded a T87 mph bat-exit velocity during a highly efficient round, posting both an 81 mph AVG and 322 foot distance on his best blast. Extra-base hit approach that warrants a closer follow offensively.

Defensively: The third baseman moved with chopped footwork, arriving on time and playing through the ball out in front. Solid posture, fought to win positions, and released from a shorter, H ¾ slot (75 mph, accurate). Made all plays necessary in either direction.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with good pace in the delivery. Repeated, holding the line down the slope to the mitt. Hid the ball at times, operating 75-76 mph with heavy run into the zone for strikes. Mixed a tight 63-65 mph SL that showed deception across the plate and flashed a developing 62-66 mph straight CH, too.

2/14/21

Physical: 5-foot-9, 145LBS. 7.95SEC 60-Yard Dash.

Offensively: RHH. Wide base with a slightly open stance. Barrel rests on shoulder prior to the load. As he prepares to attack the baseball the barrel tilts up and the hands go back. Weight rocks onto the backside as the lead leg does a toe tap for timing. Also utilizes a leg hang. Barrel is slightly down through the hitting zone.

Defensively: At 3B does not use much of a prep step. Fields the in between hop at times and does not field the ball out in front. Fields from a wide base. Shuffles towards 1B during the exchange and throws from a 3/4 arm slot.

Pitching: RHP. Starts on the 1B side of the rubber with the hands at chest height. Uses a rocker step followed by a leg lift to chest. The glove starts high, then works down and up again in correlation with the lift. Arm goes down and back post glove break. Sinks into the rear leg as he begins to work down the mound. 3/4 arm slot.

6/29/20

Physical: 5-foot-7, 130 pounds; slender build. 7.74 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even wide stance with flat bat angle; lifts hands with a toe tap stride. aggressive lower half with flat bat path. Line drives through middle of the field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 80 MPH. Defensively: Low to the ground, walks into ready position; covers ground laterally. stays low through transfer; standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 65 MPH. Pitching: Works from the stretch, open set-up glove side; very closed stride and crossfire. Arm action is clean until hitch/wrist coil right before release, standard 3/4 slot. FB: T 68MPH, 65-67 MPH. FB has some arm side run. CB: 55-58 MPH. 11-5 rotation, has below average depth but good sweep. CH: 56-57 MPH.
