RHP Ethan Kieser, Normal University, 2025 Uncommitted. Upside athlete in a 6-foot-2, 169-pound frame. Started on the mound for U-High and struck out five, walked none, allowed no runs and one hit in three innings of work, earning the win on the mound - 24 strikes on 34 total pitches. Showed confidence on the mound and a ‘get-it-and-go’ mentality, attacking hitters with a fastball/slider mix. Athletic and easy mover on the mound, smaller leg lift with tuck and coil, tall and fall down the mound, body works in-line and front toe- lands towards the plate. Long and loose arm path with minimal effort, ¾ slot. Fastball sat in the mid-80s and was up to 87 mph. Kept hitters off-balanced with his 75-78 mph slider that he threw for strikes in any count.

INF Ethan Kieser (Normal University) continues to look the part as an intriguing infielder. He’s a confident defender with controlled, natural actions and soft hands. He has a simple, easy swing at the plate from the right side, looking to stay on top of the baseball while staying on-plane.

Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 188 in Illinois’ junior class. Stants in an athletic frame with more to come at 6-foot, 167-pounds. Threw two innings in relief and struck out three. Has a long, loose arm on the mound with quickness out front. His fastball sat 83-86 mph with mostly straight actions, mixed in a slider at 78 mph with short, horizontal break. A name-to-watch in the junior class.

RHP Ethan Kieser (Normal University, 2025) is a fluid, lean-levered athlete with projection to come on a 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame that showed upside on the mound at this event. A clean mover downhill, Kieser pitched in the low-80s with his fastball, touching 83 mph, and he spun a low-70s slider off it around the zone.
