After starting behind the plate in the first game of the double header, took the mound in game two and went four innings of no hit ball striking out eight with one unearned run in 65 pitches. Kept the Coalers off balance all day long. Filled the zone with his 83-85 mph fastball that touched 87 mph, dictated the off-speed off of that. Changeup has signs of a plus offering, faded with arm speed, 73 mph. Curveball had depth, 68 mph. Full and clean delivery, works in-line, repeats actions. Short/quick arm, hides ball. Pitches with controlled fire, competes.


6-foot-2, 200-pound, well put-together build, athletic actions on all sides. Vocal leader on a young Harrisburg team, controlled the game behind the dish, feel to know when mound visits were necessary. Defensive upside, block and recover abilities present, did so and threw out a runner attempting to steal second, long arm with strength, carries to second. 2.10-2.14 pops between innings. Looks to do damage to the baseball at the plate, pull side tendencies, can create leverage. Tripled to the left/center gap, strong hands. Follow 2020 prospect.

2/10/19 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound catcher, sturdy strong build, solid lower half. Plus arm strength out of the crouch, played over the top with slight length, carried well at 81 mph. 1.95-2.06 pop times, exchange is quick and clean, feet are direct, release has slight length. Cushions the block and showed soft hands receiving. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg kick trigger, athletic balance. Path is short, showed bat strength, hard line drive contact to the middle of the field. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.49 runner in the 60.

10.14.18 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound two-way player, strong build. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg lift stride, solid balance through contact. Simple approach showed ability to spray to all fields, path is level and gets extension. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Above average arm strength, carries out of the crouch, played on line with accuracy, short over the top slot, 77 mph. Actions are quick and clean, showed soft hands, 1.98-2.12 pop times. 7.69 runner in the 60.

2.18.18 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound, catcher with a large frame and present strength. Has shaved 10 pounds off his frame since October. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth load, leg-lift timing trigger and fluid rhythm. Utilizes lower half, bat stays flat through the zone, gets extension, works gap-to-gap, hard strong contact; 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, clean out of the crouch, transfer works on-line. Throws clocked at 74 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.11-2.25. Ran a 7.97 60.

10.22.17 - 6-foot-1, 200-pound catcher, strong durable build, typical catcher’s frame. Advanced defender, hands are soft, moves well behind the plate, strong hands, sticks the baseball. Clean exchange out of the crouch, 2.03-2.12 pop times. Arm played with carry and accuracy, short over the top at 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, short stride. Loose hands with bat speed, attacks the baseball, poll side power. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. 8.15 runner in the 60.  

7.24.17 - 6-foot-1, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short heel lift stride and simple load. Gap to gap hitter with a short swing path and fluid rhythm. 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. 5.11 runner down the line. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Gets out of the crouch early. Popped 2.04-2.25 and threw 74 mph from the crouch. 

2.26.17 - 6-foot-1, 200-pound, solidly built, two-way prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter, tall, balanced setup, pre-pitch rhythm, smooth load, toe-tap load, loose hands, flat path at times, stays through the baseball, uses the middle of the field. Exit velocity clocked at 78 mph exit velocity. Defensively, behind the plate, athletic actions for age, clean arm, high ¾ slot, clocked at 72 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.11-2.26. 4.94 runner, home-to-first. On the mound, right-handed pitcher with three-pitch feel. Flashed a quick, loose, short arm out of a high ¾ window. Full wind up, smooth rhythm, stays on-line, closed toe landing and athletic finish. Fastball, flashed slight run, 76-78 mph, touched 79. Curveball works between, 11/5 and 12/6, thrown for strikes, 63-66 mph. Changeup, sinking action, feel, maintains arm speed and sat 66-68 mph.
