5/12/25
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 84 in the state. Trim, athletic 6-foot, 162-pound frame with room for added strength in the future. Batted third and played the hot corner for Fenwick. Lazewski has a direct swing from the left side with loose hands and the ability to manipulate the barrel. He drew two walks in the game and finished 0-for-2 with a hard lineout to right field in his second at-bat. Defensively, he is an athletic defender at third base with rangy actions paired with an accurate and above-average arm that should allow him to stick on the left side of the infield at the next level. An unsigned senior for schools to know.
5/02/25

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 84 in the state. Lean 6-foot, 162-pound frame, plenty of room to add on strength. Started at third base and hit out of the three-hole, finishing 2-for-4 with a double. Scrappy and upside left-handed hitter, covers the plate, took a pitch on the outer half the other way for a single, later processed to take the first pitch of his at-bat on the inner-half to his pull-side for a double. It's a flatter swing that stays through the zone, athletic hands. Steady hands on the infield, plays with leverage, keeps the feet moving. Uncommitted prospect that needs to be known, plenty of ceiling and present ability to like.

8/21/24

INF Ryan Lazewski (Fenwick) is a must-know uncommitted name to know in the state. Presenting a long-levered, projectable frame at 6-foot, 162-pounds, Lazewski showed well on both sides of the ball throughout game play. Offensively, the left-handed hitter has an athletic swing through the zone that produced line-drive contact to pair with a simple and patient approach. To go with the in-game results, Lazewski also had a loud round of batting practice - posting an average exit velocity of 91.3 mph (T94.5). Defensively, primarily playing up the middle, he showed a natural feel for the glove in both spots paired to go with an accurate arm that should allow him to stick up the middle moving forward.

2/11/24

Staying on the topic of upside left-handed hitters, INF Ryan Lazewski (Fenwick, 2025) falls into that category as well. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound infielder has some room throughout his frame for added strength, and he’s already equipped with a high-waisted, athletic build. At the plate, Lazewski displayed loose hands throughout his operation with an uphill path, utilizing a pull-side approach and using his levers to help elevate the baseball, reaching up to 94.9 mph for his max EV. Lisowski showed athletic hands and fluid infield actions, moving well side-to-side with a clean arm action that touched 83 mph across the diamond.
