A Bradley commit, Roley finished his career in dominant fashion, going 7-1 on the mound with 107 strikeouts in 57.2 innings. He allowed four runs all year, pitching to a 0.49 ERA and 0.59 WHIP. Roley threw five shutouts on the year, and his season strikeout total was second all-time in Morton history, predominantly one of the top programs out of Central Illinois. He produced at the plate as well, slashing .406/.469/.653 with three home runs, 12 extra base hits and 31 RBIs.
Bradley commit. Stands at a strong 6-foot-4, 195-pounds. Started on the mound for the Potters and dominated. Threw a complete game and gave up five hits, two earned runs, walked two, and struck out 11. Featured a three-pitch mix with a mostly straight fastball that sat 85-88 mph, touching 89 mph. His slider sat 73-76 mph with 1/7 shape, and it resulted in multiple swing-and-misses. He mixed in his changeup a few times in this look, which sat mostly 73-74 mph with some fade to the arm-side. Has been getting it done on the mound all spring for the Potters as the anchor of their staff.
Bradley commit and ranked No. 126 in the state’s class of 2023. Stands at a strong and athletic 6-foot-4, 195-pounds. Batted in the cleanup spot and was the designated hitter. Roley, who has been dominant on the mound all season for the Potters, showed well at the plate in this look. Roley showed a simple and compact swing with an uphill path. He triggered much of the Potters offensive production on the day as he went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run, four RBIs, one run scored and a walk.
