One of the most imposing athletes in the state’s 2027 class, RHP/1B Brock Lubbers (Rock Creek) showcased his two-way impact, emerging as a standout performer on both sides of the ball. At 6-foot-2, 196 pounds, Lubbers brings plenty of raw strength, swinging with intent to elevate to the pull side. His best swing of the day sent a ball 321 feet at 89.3 mph. That power seamlessly translated to the mound, where he worked 86-87 mph with his fastball, spinning it at 2,400+ RPM. Even more impressive, he showed advanced feel for a curveball/slider mix, consistently landing both for strikes. Lubbers is a name to watch this spring as he looks to play a big role in the Mustangs state title defense.

SL: 72-73 mph. Small cut action. 10/4 break. T2127, 2062 average rpm.
CH: 71-73 mph. Fade action for strikes. T1727, 1697 average rpm.

Hit: RHH. Upright, balanced setup. Leg kick and hand load back into arm-bar. Medium stride. Slight uphill swing plane with natural loft. Generates barrel whip through the zone. Line-drive and fly ball contact to the middle of the field. 70.5 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 84.5 mph. 329' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-73 mph. Short high-3/4 arm action.
Defense: Active footwork around the bag. Ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Quick exchanges.
ATH: 7.75 runner in the 60. 27.80 max vertical.
