Ethan Hampton: RHP/OF, (2025) Saint Thomas Aquinas, KS. 6-foot-3, 160-pound lanky frame. At the plate, Hampton recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Started in a tall stance with a small load, then used a long stride. Bat speed was above average, had short swing plane and level finish. He Barreled up lots of balls with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Projectable recorded an outfield position velocity of 67 mph; had developing footwork, a lengthy exchange and sure hands. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used an-over-the-top slot and a loose arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.21. Projectable on the mound, where he showed some arm speed, he had an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action. Showed some effort in his delivery. Balance point is tall with uphill shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an upright finish. Changeup (49-50 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 68-70 mph; shows consistent command and keeps its plane. Shows gradual action on his 12/6 curveball .
