Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Athletic compact frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced stance. Leg lift and hand load back/down. Compact swing w/ quick hands. Gets good tilt in swing plane. Mid/pull approach w/ line-drives.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee. Hand quickness.
Arm: RH. INF - 85 mph. Long to short arm action w/ carry.
IF Defense: Athletic to field and laterally in INF. Soft glove, fields clean.
Run: 6.84 runner in the 60. 

Delivery: Simple, balanced delivery. Average tempo w/ high balance point. Lands slightly across body.
Arm Action: RH. Quick 3/4 arm action.
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Cut action.
SL: 74-76 mph. Sharp 11/5 break. Tight spin and good depth.

Defense: Feet move athletic. Good hands and field ball out front.
Run: 6.95 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Simple, repeatable tempo. Balanced delivery. Lands slightly across body.
Arm Action: RH. Quick 3/4 arm action.
FB: T84, 82-84 mph. Lively w/ slight arm-side run.
CB: 73-74 mph. Sharp 11/5 break. Smaller shape w/ good depth.

7/18/19

Zaetta started off the game with a bang, driving the first pitch over the center field wall for a home run. He followed that up by doubling off the left field wall in his second plate appearance. Zaetta finished the game at the plate 3-for-5 with a home run, double, a pair of runs scored and a pair of runs driven in. Zaetta sets up in a slightly open stance in the right side of the box, he showcased quick bat speed to go along with wheels as he ran a 4.02 home-to-first. 

7/10/19

5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  6.58 runner.  Balanced upright stance.  Leg lift and hand load back.  Some rhythm in load. Good swing plane and flashes bat speed.  Mid/pull approach with line drive and fly ball contact.  Consistent contact and flashes pop in barrel.  85 mph exit velocity.  IF- Athletic feet and moves well to field.  Good glove and stays below ball.  Makes routine plays.  82 mph arm strength with god carry and accuracy.  Follow in 2021 class.

6/16/19

5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  6.58 runner.  Athletic in box.  Squared balanced stance.  Small leg lift and hand load.  Easy hands through swing.  Looks to elevate.  Middle approach with mainly line drive and fly ball contact.  Consistent barrel contact with 83 mph exit velocity.  IF- Athletic feet to field and longer to release.  Sure hands and fields ball clean.  84 mph arm strength with good carry and accuracy.  On mound- Small rocker step into leg lift.  Good balance through delivery.  Lands occasionally slightly across body.  Throws from a ¾ arm action.  Fastball is downhill with some run thrown at 80-83 mph.  Curveball has 11/5 sharp break and good shape thrown at 72-73 mph. 

3/16/19

5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 6.82 runner. Square stance, easy hand rhythm, looks to lift, slightly inverted plane, occasional pop in bat, fly balls off bat, 77 mph exit velocity. Fields out front, softer hands, above avg. footwork, works through ball, tends to stop to throw, above avg. carry to bag, 83 mph arm across infield. On mound; swings into higher leg kick, short arm action with easy effort, lands inline to catcher with solid extension out front. Fastball was 80-82 mph with late life and varying action to plate. Above avg. breaking ball with light spin and late break for strikes. Confident with changeup; thrown with fastball arm speed and same slot with solid action.

7/11/18- 5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder.  6.65 runner.  Slight rock back leg lift and hands load down to start.  Gap to gap approach that can have an uphill swing plane.  Fly fall contact with average pop.  Average bat speed with an 81 mph exit velocity.  IF- Solid actions, fields out in front and works through baseball.  Clean exchange with slightly longer release that delivers some cut action that at times affects accuracy and carry to bag. 79 mph arm strength.  On mound- Balanced delivery with a quick turn into leg lift.  Fall down mound with good direction to the plate.  Mostly arm with limited lower half.  Fastball is straight and 77-79 mph.  Curveball is 68-71 mph and has sharp 11/5 break.  Solid feel for change-up at 68-70 that is thrown for strikes.

3/17/18- 5-foot-9, 135-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.21 runner. Square stance, body load, lower hand slot, inverted swing plane, spray hitter with gap to gap approach, 75 mph exit velocity. Good first step, works around and through baseball with rhythm, sure hands, taller fielding position occasionally, flashes actions in field, 78 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; rocker step into higher athletic tuck and turn, short compact arm action, repeats delivery well. Fastball was 77-80 mph with late running action to plate. Early break on off-speed with flatter shape to plate. Good feel for changeup with above avg. action and fade.
