Brody Rexroad: C/3B, (2021) Mustang, OK. 6-foot-1, 225-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, Rexroad had an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in a tall open stance with a small wrapping load, then used a long stride before his swing. Bat speed is above average, exhibits upward swing plane and a front foot finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, had a pop time of 2.07-2.21, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 74 mph; has developing feet, a clean developing exchange and soft sure hands. Quiet setup with some flexibility. Had a short arm action and a high ¾ slot with some accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.09.

Begins in an open stance with a tight load, then uses a long stride before his swing. Bat speed was above average, displayed flat swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, had consistent pop times of 2.09-2.15, best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 76 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands and average footwork. Average flexibility and clean setup.Showed a ¾ slot with a stiff arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.2.

A durable 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and average tempo delivery that he repeats well. Uses a moderate leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive and finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action is long, loose, and quick in the back before coming through an over the top slot with advanced arm speed. Fastball sits 83-85 with run to the arm side and cut to the glove side, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with some late depth, thrown with near fastball arm speed at 72-75 mph, nearly all strikes. In the game, Rexroad punched out two of the four batters he faced, not allowing a hit.  

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound primary backstop featured a large, physical frame with strength that plays in-game. The right-handed hitter begins with an open stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated advanced bat whip through a slightly uphill path into the zone while hitting into a strong and stiff front side. Created legit carry with noticeable pull side pop and a gap-to-gap approach with nearly all barrels, registering a 92 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Demonstrated fluid hips that allowed for extension long through the baseball. Recorded a 7.87 60-yard dash. The primary catcher flashed a soft glove-hand at the catch point with minimal body sway. Pop times ranged from 1.98-2.02 on accurate throws of 78 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Showcased solid straight line footwork coupled with smooth transfers behind the dish. Displayed comfortability while blocking, consistently deadening the baseball with downward angles and soft shields. 

A 6-foot-1, 200-pound sturdy frame; C/3B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Began in an open stance with a wrapping load, then used a long stride to initiate his swing. Exhibits a level swing plane, as well as above average bat speed and a high finish. In BP, found mostly barrels, flashing big pop. He showed off his arm strength with 77 mph throws to second base for showcase pop times of 1.99-2.22. Showing very consistent accuracy to the bases, he had a ¾ slot with a short arm action. He recorded a time of 7.96 in the 60-yard dash.

On the mound, the right-hander works from a smooth and average tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick, coiling at the top, before gliding down the mound and finishing to the dish. Arm action is long an fluid in the back with the elbow getting high before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sat slightly lower than we had seen him before (81-83), rankings 78-80, some strikes, keeping its plane. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with rolling action at 64-65 mph. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed at 78-79.

A 6-foot-1, 200-pound physical presence behind the plate. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and uses a small hand movement to stay on time. In BP Rexroad stays and under control with gap to gap power and a direct path. Does a good job of staying through the baseball when he gives his strong lower half space to work.displayed a 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.63 60. Defensively, shows adiquate hands and feet. Arm action very depending on play with the ability to throw with different strokes and actions depending on the play, 80 mph across the diamond.

Physically advanced for his age, Rexroad stands 5-foot-11, 183-pounds. Works from an average tempo deliver that he repeats well. Arm action is long and smooth coming through a 3/4 slot with some arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 76-77 mph with what looks to be more in the tank. Slider has 10/4 shape and some late depth, 65-66 mph. In the game, was a bit streaky with his command, but will surely be an arm to watch as he adjust to his big frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open and slightly back leg heavy set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate soft stride with quality led drive and is short to the ball with good extension. In BP, shows a pull approach with occasional lift, some carry, some barrels. Exit velo of 79 mph. Runs an 8.40 60. Defensively, shows a clean and controlled actions with above average hands and feet at his age. Throws from a low-¾ slot with some accuracy, 71 mph across the infield. In the game, made solid contact a few times and showed an aggressive approach early in counts.

A proportional 5-foot-11, 183-pound frame. On the mound, works from a slightly up-tempo delivery with good rhythm. Uses a high leg kick before striding down the mound and finishing inline. Arm action is full, loose, and fluid in the back before coming through a ¾ slot with ease. Fastball sits 78-80 with occasional cutting action and good feel for the zone. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with above average spin, some strikes, 67-68 mph. Changeup shows some cut at 74-75 mph, controlled around the zone. Overall, Rexroad’s stuff and command has continued to progress with his frame, with more ahead of him.

Uses a coiling load with a moderate stride before pulling his hand on an uphill path with some bat speed. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with consistent lift, mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs an 8.25 60. Defensively, shows slightly above average feet and hands, throws from a low ¾ slot with excellent accuracy, 75 mph across the diamond.

Arm action is full and loose in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 80-82 mph with slight arm-side run, mostly strikes. Curveball shows slurvy 10/4 shape with depth at 68-69 mph. Changeup has some arm-side run, thrown with full arm speed, 75-76 mph.  

A 5-foot-11, 183-pound frame with strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and relaxed set-up. Uses a long stride with a late heel plant before launching his hands on an uphill path through extension with some length and bat speed. In BP, shows an all fields approach with lift, almost all barrels, 86 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.63 second 60. Defensively, on the infield, shows advanced hands and feet with confident actions. Throws with a short arm stoke through a 3/4 slot with accuracy at 75 mph across the diamond.

Arm action is long and fluid in the back coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm strength. Fastball sits 81-83 mph with occasional cut to the glove side, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with tight spin and some late depth. In the game, Rexroad retired all five batters he faced including two punchouts.

On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and controlled delivery that he repeats with a moderate leg lift and some leg drive down the mound, finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action is long and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with some quickness. Fastball keeps its plane at 81-83 mph, almost all strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with some late depth at 68-73, command well down in the zone. In the game, Rexroad punched out the first four batters he faced, three with the breaking ball.
