Physical: 6-foot-2, 225 pounds; Strong, physical frame. 7.41 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance with hands up in front of back shoulder; toe tap stride gaining ground with hands loading down and back. aggressive lower have against a strong post leg staying behind the ball with direct path to the ball staying on plane with + bat speed; 11 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Kanagy is able to produce 12.2 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 62%.  consistent hard contact gap to gap with present power to pull side; average Trackman exit velocity of 93.27 MPH; peak exit velo was 98 MPH.
Defensively: Walks into ready position; athletic foot work playing through the ball routinely. soft glove with a seamless transfer; moderate take away to a 3/4 slot.   INF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Works with steady pace using a high leg lift with a slight turn before getting into back side while striding out in line and finishing against a strong front side.. Long, fluid arm action with a 3/4 slot. FB: T 86MPH, 82-84 MPH. Has life into the zone with some ride and run with avg. spin rate of 1947. CB: 70-73 MPH. Commands to the glove side with slurve action; 9:15 tilt and avg. of 8.2 in of horizontal movement. CH: 80 MPH. Good hand speed with with avg. arm side run of 9.7 in. Drops release point a bit with avg. tilt of 1:45.


Physical: Full frame at 6-foot-2 225 pounds with broad, squared off shoulders.
Pitching: Stays tall with high leg lift and coil, stays over the back side with shoulder tilt while striking out with intent through repeatable release and follow through. Drops down and back out of the glove before getting up quick to 3/4 release. FB: T84, 82-84 MPH. Commands in the zone with downhill plane. CB: 67-69 MPH. 11-5 shape with depth at times.  CH: 73-74 MPH. Late fade when kept at arm speed.


Demonstrated feel for an advanced, physical 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame with noticeable strength in all of his actions. The primary right-handed pitcher starts from a tall stack with slight hip swivel allowing for repeatability and 80-83 mph fastballs to pound the zone with heavy action into the zone. Mixed in a 62-65 mph curveball with some depth flashing 11/5 movement. Showed feel for a consistent release on a 71-72 mph changeup thrown with near fastball arm-speed. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, open stance utilizing a controlled lift-and-replace stride. Took a noticeable round of batting practice with loud contact to all fields. Showcased a strong lower half that generated advanced barrel whip through a slightly uphill path yielding natural pull side lift. Recorded an 88 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.41 60-yard dash.


6-foot-1, 205-pound primary pitcher sat 80-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot with heavy arm-side run to his fastball. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 64-67. Changeup is thrown with good sell and displayed some sink at 69-71. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to begin. Displayed a strong lower half with a middle of the field approach and the ability to create backspin. Registered an 89 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Showcased solid feet and glove work at first base with 75 mph arm strength across the diamond.


6-foot-1, 200-pound two-way prospect sat 76-78 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with hip coil to his delivery. Repeatable, deliberate delivery begins with a short, side-rocker step. Curveball with 11/5 rotation at 62-64 showed good depth. Also displayed a changeup at 65-66. Right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed some pull side pop with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Went 2-for-6 at the plate in game action and ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Displayed capable actions and footwork around the bag at first base with accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond. Projectable frame and above average all-around skill set. Definite follow in the Class of 2021.
