6-foot-1, 170-pound athletic frame with lean strength present and room for more. For me Schaedel was the player of the game. He came off the bench and had an immediate impact. Went two for two with a double and single, which were two huge hits for the Cape Henry team. Stayed inside a fastball for a double to right center field and then in his next at bat got his hands on plane for an elevated fastball and lined a single into left center. Accurate barrel and room to add more strength. Schaedel is a versatile defender showing the capability to play second and third in the infield, as well as athletic enough to play multiple outfield positions. On the mound the 2024 right hander came on to close it out in extra innings. Schaedel collected two strikeouts, one of them coming with two on and two out to finish out the Cape Henry win. Schaedel is a strike thrower with feel for a fastball-curveball mix. The fastball sat 82-84 mph and threw a 12/6 curveball at 72-75 mph. This is a 2024 that is trending up and definitely a good look for us at the variety of ways that he can impact the game.
