Redshirt-Sophomore. Formerly ranked No. 44 in Wisconsin’s 2020 class. High-level athlete with multiple tools to his game. Finished last season with a .308 batting average, eight doubles, one triple, two home runs, 44 runs scored and 10 stolen bases on 11 attempts. Started off his day by cruising to a 6.58 60-yard dash. Approach at the plate looks to pair with his speed, shooting the gaps with a max exit velocity of 94 mph and finding the barrel consistently. Aggressive, confident, athletic actions in the outfield with an event-best 92 mph from a crow-hop. Average pro-level arm strength with accuracy on all throws.   

Recent Northern Illinois commit. Speedy centerfielder and left-handed leadoff bat, quick twitch 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame. Competitive hitter, works at bats and puts the ball in play, anything on the ground puts pressure on the defense, plus runner down the line, 4.11. Spay, line drive approach. Defensively covers ground in centerfield, above average defender, average arm strength. Quick feet and can chase down either gap and go back on the baseball.

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound left handed hitter is one of the top uncommitted outfielders in the state’s 2020 class. At the dish, Uehling sets up in a slightly open stance, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Bat path is short and level. His loose hands help create a quick-twitch swing that generates consistent hard contact. He finished the weekend 4-for-10 with a double and an RBI, and three runs scored. Uehling’s explosive speed makes him a threat on the basepaths, as he is constantly looking to put pressure on the pitcher. He scored a run in three of their four games this weekend. .

Defense: Quick fluid footwork, plays through the baseball in stride, uses crowhop to exchange.

10/28/18 - 5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, lean athletic frame with loose live actions. Advanced run tool, 6.83 runner in the 60. Carries over in the outfield, feet move quickly and fluid through the baseball, athletic aggressive actions. Arm plays long and over the top, accurate from the outfield, showed carry, 86 mph. Left-handed hitter, balanced setup, short stride. Spray hitter, makes line drive contact, occasional hard off the barrel. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee.
