Updated Class of 2023 Player Rankings (September)

The group of 2023 prospects in New England is outstanding. As PBR has grown we are fortunate enough to see a number of younger players. The ability to watch their development is remarkable. The No. 1 ranked player in New England is also the No. 1 ranked player in the country. However, he is not the only one with an ultra bright future. See below as we list as a number of very good 2023 prospects from the New England region.

Below we will take a look at “Who Is At The Top”, The Newcomers”, "The Risers", "The Sleepers" and the top uncommitted prospects by position.

Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the 2023 Player Rankings.


The class of 2023 in New England is loaded to say the least, as it is led by Thomas White. White is the #1 ranked prospect in the country at this point. Don’t let that fool you, as your shouldn’t sleep on the rest of the players in the 2023 class. It is full of quality arms and positional players.  Below we will try to scratch the surface of some of the better players in the New England region for the Class of 2023.

  • Thomas White (Video) is a 6-foot-4 left-hander who has touched the mid 90’s with his fastball. He is a one of a kind arm at his age.
  • Hiro Wyatt, 6-foot-1, 160-pound right-hander headed to Duke and the ACC.
  • Alex Clemmey, left-handed with a ton of projection. He is headed to Vanderbilt and the SEC.
  • Chandler Coe is a 6-foot-4 right-handed with a ton of projection in his ability on the mound.
  • Eisig Chin is a left-handed hitting outfielder with a sweet stroke . 


  • Jacob Albert (Video) is a left-handed hitting outfielder who ran a 6.5 and showed clean hands at the plate.
  • Jayder Raifstanger is a left-handed hitting middle infielder with a ton of potential as the bat is legit.
  • Justin Higgins is a right-handed hitting middle infielder with a projectable body and showed good athleticism.
  • Payton Manca, big and left-handed. He shows a ton of potential with the bat.
  • Jack Cropper is an excellent looking player as he pitches in the mid 80’s with  spin and can swing the bat.
  • Evan Blake is a physical right-handed hitting infielder who can really play. Keep an eye on him.
  • Sean Stephenson reclassified and committed to Connecticut. He swings the bat from the left-side.
  • Conor Kelly, a right-handed hitter, serious potential to swing the bat.
  • Brandon Berean, a right-handed pitcher, showed a quick arm an above average slider.


  • Dante D’AVanzo is a right-handed hitting middle infielder who has gained strength and his game has advanced.
  • Will Fosberg is a left-handed hitting catcher with a ton of leverage at the plate. He shows well behind the dish as well.
  • Ryan McHugh (Video) is a right-handed pitcher and middle infielder who verbally committed to Harvard. 
  • James Raidt is a young right-hander who attended the Future Games this past August and threw the baseball very well. 
  • Andrew Chenevert is a right-handed pitcher who is making solid strides in his game.
  • Cole Mascott made another jump in his game as well. He is trending up.
  • Antonio Morales is a left-handed hitting infielder and catcher who just committed to Boston College.


  • Scott Brown (Video) is a quick twitch left-handed hitter with plus foot speed. 
  • Dillon James displayed a clean arm and plenty of feel on the mound during the event 2 weeks ago.  
  • Nick Guachione is a right-handed hitting catcher with plus potential with the bat and behind the dish. 
  • Mason Breton is a left-handed hitter who shows a good feel for his swing. 
  • Colin Dowdle, young right-hander with a ton of potential on the mound.
  • Matthew Hirsch is a good looking right-handed arm with a good feel for what he is doing.
  • Gavin O’Brien, a right-handed hitter, super athletic, long and lengthy frame, with loads of potential.
