Scouting Report

Physical: Showcased a physically advanced, 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame with legitimate strength in the lower half. 6.93 runner in the 60-yard dash flashing the athleticism he possesses. Offensively: RHH. Crouched, wide open stance with the hands showing minor rhythm as the barrel points downward over the backside. Utilized a leg kick stride to initiate a slightly uphill, explosive barrel path through the hitting zone. Generated lots of power and unleashed it at the front of the plate with a short time to contact, exploded on the ball thrown middle in with an advanced feel for the lower half throughout the swing, held posture well and stayed behind the baseball with regularity. The hands could release early at times causing slight pull off, but generally stayed through the LCF gap during batting practice. Impressive measurables during his round with a top bat-exit velocity of 93 mph according to Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The primary outfielder featured short and active footwork playing downhill through the baseball with consistency at the fielding window. Fielded off of the left side on the approach and could go and get it in the air with quality straight line foot speed (6.96 runner in the 60-yard dash). Demonstrated CF qualities at times but will most likely position himself at a corner spot with the power bat leading the way. Accurate, high ¾ slot with some zip on it towards the target. OF - 82 mph

Physical: 5-foot-9, 175 pounds; strong, sturdy frame. 6.89 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Open wide stance with bat waggle; short take back of hands with exaggerated knee to knee stride. Aggressive lower half with stays in the zone with some lift. Aggressive swing with flyballs to pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 95 MPH. Defensively: Upright; active aggressive approach. Clean transfer; over the top arm slot. 2.27-2.30 pop times. C - 73 MPH.  OF - 81 MPH.

5-foot-9, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg-lift stride to begin. Showcased an explosive lower half, gets on plane early, and displayed current pop that is advanced for a player his age. Registered a bat exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Showcased capable defensive actions in the outfield with current 79 mph arm strength. Actions are still raw, but strength in all facets is very advanced. Definite player to follow in this class.
