Louisville commit, currently ranked No. 8 in the Illinois’ Class of 2019 class. 6-foot-3, 210-pound, highly-athletic, wide-shouldered, long-limbed, right-handed hitting infielder. Started at shortstop and hit in the three-hole. At the plate, quiet relaxed setup and confident look in the box. Selectively aggressive, short to the ball, flat through the zone. Finished 1-for-3 with a game-tying RBI single with two outs in the top of the seventh inning. Defensively, steady actions at shortstop, reliable hands, ability to throw from multiple slots. Loose, live arm, throws carried across the diamond.

2.25.18 - Louisville commit. Lean projectable frame, 6-foot-3, 190-pound athlete, high ceiling prospect. Plus runner, 6.83 in the 60, long strided. Right-handed hitter, easy balanced setup, loads hands into arm bar, short stride. Loose hands, creates easy bat speed on level path. Showed pull side pop, ball jumps of the bat, hard repeatable contact, plus potential hitter. 97 mph exit velocity from the tee. Long gangly actions defensively, rangy defender, can cut down angles more, hands are soft, cushions the baseball. Arm action is long and loose, carries well, plus arm, 89 mph across the diamond.

5.31.17 - Louisville commit. Currently ranked No. 3 in the Illinois Class of 2019. 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. Lanky, athletic frame with room to fill out and add strength. Stands out on the field defensively. Confidant, fluid actions. Smooth footwork with soft, sure hands. Can play on the run, moves well laterally. Loose arm action, can throw from multiple arm angles. Accurate throws across the infield with carry. At the plate hits from an upright, open setup. Linear leg lift stride with good balance. Got down the line at 4.29 on a ground out to the first baseman. 

5.15.17 - Louisville commit. Ranked No. 3 in the 2019 Illinois’ class and No. 58 overall. 6-foot-3, 175-pound, lean, athletic, shortstop. Quick-twitched body with loose actions and room to add to his frame.  Defensively, easy actions at shortstop with good feet and hands, glides around the position.  Loose, quick arm, can make all the throws with good carry to them. At the plate, right-handed hitter, upright and slightly open with good rhythm, gets separation and has a slight bar, keeps his weight back and tracks the ball well.  Has a very quick bat and uses the whole field to hit and showed power to the opposite field. Will continue to develop power as he matures. Plays with confidence and moxie. High-level 2019 infielder. 

4.15.17 - Louisville recruit, currently ranked No. 3 in Illinois’ 2019 class and No. 57 overall. 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitting shortstop, long athletic build, wiry strength with plenty of room for continued physical development. Possesses combination of present athletic baseball skill and high-ceiling potential. Did it all for Carmel in doubleheader sweep, hitting leadoff and playing rock-solid defense. Went 3-for-5 with three walks, three RBI, three runs and a stolen base. Hit a two-run homer to left, a double to centerfield and reached base seven times on the day. Offensively, has improved his setup dramatically since last look. Hits from a relaxed, tall, open setup; excellent pre-pitch rhythm in hand load, pronounced leg kick back, mostly on time with it, occasionally gets heavy to front side. Loose, highly athletic hands, advanced bat speed, slightly uphill path; ball jumps off the bat with loft and carry. Potential for significantly more power as he physically develops and continues to refine swing path. Defensively, moves with fluidity and purpose, ranges well to both sides, reliable hands, and throws have carry and finish to first base. Overall high-level tools across the board. Above all, he plays hard, and plays with energy and bounce. Clearly looks like he enjoys competing on the baseball field.

7.26.16 - Louisville commit. Loose projectable frame, 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Balanced stance, leg lift stride, average balance. Loose live hands, explosive bat speed through the hitting zone, path is level and works through contact. Hard contact that jumps off the bat, plays in game. 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively is highly athletic, raw actions with soft athletic hands. 4.37 runner down the line. Active and aggressive baserunner, applies pressure to the defense. High motor gamer, plays with enthusiasm.

2.21.16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound, athletic frame, projectable, multi-positional prospect. One of the best athletes we have seen in the 2019 class. Ran a 4.04 home-to-first, was clocked at 90 mph from the outfield and registered an 89 mph exit velocity. Also, projectable on the mound but did not pitch at the event. Offensively, flashed explosive bat speed for his age; hands are quick to the ball and routinely makes hard contact. Balanced setup, low hand set, gets off his backside at contact and a gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, could stick in the infield or the outfield; arm is well above-average and his hands are soft. Long, quick arm action clocked at 83 mph across the infield. Extremely projectable, high follow prospect in the 2019 class.

1.17.16 - Long and lean 6-foot-2, 170-pound, plenty of room for continued physical development, right-handed hitting outfielder and infielder. Offensively, produced one of the best exit velocities of the day and well above-average for his age, 95 mph. Also, ran a 7.02 laser-timed 60. Present bat speed with a gap-to-gap approach at the plate. Loose hands and bat stays flat through the zone at times. Balanced setup and occasionally bars during load. Defensively, worked out in the outfield and at shortstop. Long and loose arm action from a ¾ slot. Showed better as an outfielder. Played through the baseball well, quick, fluid footwork and clean exchange. Throws were clocked at 82 mph from the outfield and 71 mph from shortstop.

10.25.15 - Loose projectable frame, lean athlete, 6-foot-2, 170-pound two-way prospect, big upside. Lively bat, right-handed hitter, tall balanced stance, heel lift load, lower half works, solid balance through contact. Loose whippy hands, aggressive athletic hacks, fast bat, level path, 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed athleticism in the field, clean exchange, fluid feet, 7.26 runner in the 60. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, lacked carry, 76 mph across the diamond. On the mound delivery is athletic and repeats, stays online. Live loose arm, high ¾ arm slot, upside arm on the mound. Fastball showed control, worked the bottom half with some tilt, 80-81 mph. Curveball has sweeping action, flashed good bite, 66-69 mph. Showed a knuckle ball at 67-70 mph.
