Drew Church, SS, Montini, 2025 Eastern Illinois commit, currently ranked No. 65 in the state. Extremely projectable and high-waisted 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame, all sorts of room to add strength in the coming years. Premium defender at shortstop, ultra soft and fluid hands with athletic footwork, internal clock with proper timing through the baseball, glides easily to both sides of his glove, confident in a one-hand gather going through the baseball, extremely natural actions. Strong and athletic arm across the diamond, easy arm-speed, can play from multiple angles and on the move with ease. Simple right-handed swing, wider base that stays spread out, hangs his foot into his stride, loose and handsy swing - finished the day 1-for-3 with a single and a lineout to center.

Eastern Illinois commit. Currently ranked No. 52 in the state. Lean, high-waisted 6-foot-2, 163-pound frame, athletic look with plenty of room to add on strength. High-level defender on the dirt, soft hands with advanced glove-to-hand, plays through the ball with rhythm, easy/fluid actions and footwork allow him to cover ground to both sides of his glove. Arm is quick and strong, playing from a ¾ release with life across the diamond. Loose right-handed swing, easy effort and stays through the zone, will use the whole field. Hopped on the mound to close out the game, impressing with his loose, quick arm once again; working up to 86 mph with the fastball and ripping off a sharp 10/4 slider at 77-78 mph. High-level middle-infield prospect with a high ceiling.

MIF Drew Church (Montini Catholic, 2025) showed well on both sides of the ball throughout the event, and projects well playing up the middle of the field. Church has plenty of upside within a high-waisted 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame. At the plate, he uses a loose, simple right-handed swing that will continue to progress with added strength. Defensively, Church showed tools that will allow him to stick up the middle. Displayed above average arm strength across the infield (87 mph), along with savvy glove work and rhythmic feet.

Uncommitted. Ultra-projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with long limbs. He’s a well above-average defender, showcasing soft and fluid hands through the ball with athletic footwork and range to both sides. The right-handed hitter didn’t record a hit in the game, but his at-bats were still impressive - fouling pitches straight back and remaining on time with a loose/fluid stroke. High-follow 2025 with tremendous upside.
