Columbia commit. Currently ranked No. 67 in the state. Projectable 6-foot-3, 199-pound frame, athletic with some strength throughout. Came out of the ‘pen and was dominant over three innings of work, allowing just one run, one walk and punching out five. The right-hander has a controlled tempo with a tall/fall operation, quick arm with an athletic finish. He worked his fastball up to 90 mph multiple times throughout the day even into his second inning, cruising comfortably in the 86-89 mph range throughout. He went to his slider often, playing with sharp 10/4 action and depth at 74-78 mph, showing the ability to land for strikes and to put hitters away.

Like many of the arms mentioned above, RHP Henrik Conniff (New Trier; Columbia commit) made significant strides on the mound this offseason. He owns an athletic, 6-foot-3, 199-pound frame with strength throughout. Coniff’s fastball sat 89-90 mph with carry through the zone and above-average spin (avg. 2400 rpm). His curveball sat 77-78 mph with an average of 2402 rpm and short, tight break. To round out his three-pitch mix, Coniff threw a mid-80s changeup with slight arm-side run, throwing it for strikes 50% of the time.

Verbally committed to Columbia University.

A future top-of-the-order player at the next level, Toft took quality at-bats all week en route to a 3-for-7 (2B, BB) performance. The 5-foot-9, 164-pound outfielder comfortably rocks the hands down and back at a controlled pace before generating bat speed via quick hands with some length in the zone. Quiet with the head while staying behind the baseball, he was perpetually on the barrel throughout two batting practice sessions that included a max exit velocity of 96 mph with some sneaky strength to the pull side. Athletic in the outfield, his 6.81 speed played up with a quick first step in center field and advanced instincts. Toft’s ability to slow things down at the plate while showcasing impressive decision making abilities is something that is sure to generate plenty of interest from college programs who are looking for a player that will undoubtedly boost a recruiting class.

MIF/RHP Henrik Conniff (New Trier, 2025) is an intriguing two-way prospect in the state of Illinois. A right-handed hitter, Conniff has a stock setup at the plate with a leg lift trigger, before moving into a short and direct bat path that barrels the baseball (max exit velocity of 92 mph). Conniff was a 6.96 runner in the 60. On the mound, Conniff was also an intriguing name-to-know following our premier event of the summer. Conniff is an athletic mover on the bump and pairs it with a quick, loose arm that created some noteworthy metrics. During his appearance, Conniff ran his fastball up to 86.7 mph and sat exclusively 84-86 mph throughout; playing with above average spin (2,539 RPM max) and carry (15.9’ max IVB). While he is still fully harnessing feel for both a slider and changeup, they both project as out-pitches in the near future. He spun in a handful of tight sliders that averaged nearly 2,500 RPM and flashed feel for a changeup with some depth, too.

INF Henrik Conniff (New Trier) emerged as a high-follow uncommitted 2025 infielder. Defensively, he looks the part, bouncing around the infield on his toes with quality glove presentation and overall athletic actions. He is comfortable on the move with a smooth and athletic double play turn,soft hands and a quick arm that plays up to 82 mph. Offensively, he swings a fluid, quick right-handed bat that works on-plan with levers and bat speed. Upside prospect with the actions and arm to stick on the left-side of the diamond moving forward.
