CIF/RHP Cale Fossett (Shawnee Mission North) continued to show why he is one of the top two-way prospects in Kansas’ 2026 class. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior was consistently between 82-84 mph with his fastball that jumps on hitters, topping at 86 mph later in the week at the NPI. Additionally, Fossett showed his strength at the plate, producing a peak exit velocity of 98.6 mph and using natural lift to send his best ball 374 feet.

Another standout two-way performance came from CIF/RHP Cale Fossett (Shawnee Mission North, 2026). A 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete, Fossett used smooth actions and an inside-out swing to drive the ball to all fields in his BP round, producing a max exit velocity of 92 mph. On the mound, Fossett pitched in the mid 80’s with his fastball while commanding a curveball/changeup mix for strikes.

Body: 6-1, 190-pounds. Physically advanced, athletic build.
Hits: RHH. Upright, square stance with quiet actions. Controlled leg kick and hand coil load into a medium stride. Back foot finish. Flat, level bat angle. Shows good hand speed with the ability to drive the ball to all fields.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 81.6 MPH. 321' max distance. Above-average bat speed and power for his class.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph.Long 3/4 arm action with carry.
Defense: Clean glove and footwork, soft hands and fluid exchanges. Consistent release with ability to throw from multiple arm angles.
Run: 7.29 runner in the 60.

Physical 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete that played a key role on a Prime 27:17 team that won the 14U tournament championship. Owns advanced raw power at the plate from the right side and showed it this weekend. Has also been up to 86 mph on the mound from a loose ¾ slot. High-follow prospect set to begin his high school career shortly.
