Joey looks the part already with a physical, athletic, well-built catchers frame who will also give you a plus bat from the left side. Joey showed good loose lower half when asked to block being able to move effectively and show his mobility. Joey showed ability to handle the majority of pitches with good strength in forearm to stick pitches. A little stiff at times on ball down and away, He is more than a capable receiver. Compact Arm action with a quick release and quality foot work allowed Kaden 2.01-2.18 pop time.  Offensively, Joey showed a plus bat with wood. Good balanced set up into an aggressive stride, Randazzo possesses a strong leverage swing that will hit with power. First AB was a triple to right field and Joey showed his athleticism and 6.9- 60 speed running the bases very well.

Developing, 5-foot-10, 155, Randazzo is a developing receiver that sits comfortable in his crouch. He showed the ability to handle a variety of arms with confidence. He displayed instincts for block and recovery. His 6.94 60-yard time would lend to improved recovery quickness down the line. He throws accurately with a quick transition, rolling through his exchange like he is turning a double play. Noticeable was his ability to get his front foot down quickly, providing a quick release. At the plate, He maintains a simple rhythm with balance throughout his swing, making consistent quality contact. Growth and development should sustain gap type power, with an occasion for pull-side juice.
