One of the more productive rounds we saw from Team Ohio. One of those guys who's just has a natural feel to hit/barrels everything. All fields direction, line drive flight, peaking at 77mph batspeed and a top EV of 92mph. With the glove he has a middle infield candidate at the next level considering advanced ball skills and feel for the game. How much he twitches up/lateral mobility develops will likely determine which side of the infield he ends up on.

Parker Corbin: SS/C, (2024) Cincinnati Country Day, OH. 5-foot-9, 165-pound. Athletic at the plate, Corbin clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in a tall open stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was quick, and showed a level swing plane. He barreled up multiple balls during his round. Line drive approach. Above average while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; showed soft hands, a clean fluid exchange, and athletic consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.57.

Hit: One of the top talents in the 2024 class. Smooth stroke with advanced barrel accuracy. Rarely misses and when he does it's off the barrel. All field abilities. Ideal top of lineup skill set.
Power: Line drive guy who can run the gap.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 88mph.
Max BP Distance: 269ft.
Field: Very complete player who once again showed advanced abilities with the glove. As usual, he looked the part in the middle infield but also really threw it well behind the dish. Right now he may grade out higher as a MIF just due to reps he’s had but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone falls in love with the athleticism behind the dish and gives that a real shot as well.
Throw: Projects to have above average strength.
Defensive Projection: INF/C.

Hit: One of the top hit tools we've come across in the 2024 class. Athletic storke, loose/whippy. Barrels everything and can use the entire field.
Power: Line drive pop with gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 84 mph
Max BP Distance: 291 ft
Field: Athletic defender. Advanced skill set for class. All the tools are there to be a well above average defender at the next level.
Throw: Clean arm with jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: MIF.

2/22/20 Position Player
Hit: Lefty hitter with open to closed stance approach. Nice and easy smooth natural swing with a level bat path.
Power: 88mph exit velo with a max distance of 253 feet.
Offensive Projection: Gap to gap potential.
Field: Low athletic crouch position with a solid transition into throw down. Presents good arm strength too. Conservative approach in
field with fluid smooth footwork.
Throw: 77mph infield velo with a 70mph catcher velo. Pop time of 2.07.
Defensive Projection: MIF.

Swing Mechanics: Left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open stance. Athletic load that creates both energy and balance.
Hit: Whippy stroke with a ton of feel for contact and impressive natural tools. Ball jumps off his bat and he can use both sides of the field. Very impressive hit tool for class. Raked in BP.
Power: Easy gap abilities with power to come down the road.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Field: Top infielder we saw on the day with the glove. Ton of feel for hit feet which allows him to maintain rhythm throughout feilding sequence. Ball skills are advanced for age. Also showed a well above average skill set behind the dish. Smooth actions with impressive catch/throw abilities. Talented defender.
Throw: Loose arm with already quality strength that projects for easy velocity gains down the road.

Very impressive showing in game, excelling defensively. In the first inning, he came across the infield on a slow roller up the middle and made a hard play look easy and routine. At the the plate, the left-handed hitter is a prototypical top of the order type bat. He sprayed the ball all over the field and demonstrated the ability to square up left-handed pitching. Really stood out in BP/workout. Has a chance to be really good down the road. Very solid defender as well. Actions are athletic and glove is a well above average tool. Talented player to keep an eye on.
