TPG East

Del Valle is 6-0 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, showed a good approach using the whole field, exit velocity was 84. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 81. Ran a 6.97 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 77-80, touching 82, with some run to armside. Curveball was 68-70 and change-up was 68-70.

6-foot, 180-pound athletic frame that has added strength and still has some room to grow. Sets up at the plate with an athletic stance. Starts square, leg lift to stride, and lands slightly closed. Slightly uphill path, quick to the zone, and stays on through extension. Displayed some bat speed and strength in the swing. Offense looks to be improved, as he produced consistent loud contact and some power potential with the added strength to the frame. Exit velocity was 90 mph. In the outfield the glove worked free and loose on approach, clean exchange, and a full arm circle throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. In the infield displayed active feet on approach, glove presented well, and showed soft hands to catch. Short arm action and displayed ability to throw from multiple slots with ease. Positional velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 6.84 60. Del Valle has started to fill into a strong athletic frame and looks to have improved on the offensive side. He will be a guy to keep a close eye on this spring.

Del Valle is 6-0 with a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, loads hands down and slightly back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains very good lower half balance. Stayed inside ball, very short to contact, slightly uphill with good strong contact point and extension through the ball, fast bat. Showed good approach working gap to gap, swing has some natural loft built in, exit velocity was 86. In the infield, quick feet, rounds ball and fields with soft hands and a wider base. Quick hands and a clean exchange, works through the ball. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot with a short loose arm action, infield velocity was 80. Ran a 7.12 60 yard dash.

Preseason All State Session I
Athletic frame with some projection left to it at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Ran a quick 4.08 Home-1st. Del Valle is a grinder and a kid with some athleticism and tools who is not afraid to outwork everyone around him. Defensively has really nice actions pre and post catch. Prep hop on contact getting the feet ready to move and react to the play. Active feet on approach fielding out front with solid glove presentation and a very quick clean exchange. Arm action is short and shows comfort throwing from multiple arm angles and slots on a variety of plays. Infield velocity is 76 mph. Hits from an athletic open stance striding closed with a toe tap. Del Valle uses his lower half well firing the hips with some aggression and allowing the hands and barrel to have some whip getting through the zone. Displayed ability to pull hands in when needed and finished with a slightly uphill bat path and a 85 mph exit velo. A must follow prospect this spring and summer as he continues to grow and mold into a really solid infielder.

2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp

6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame. Posted a 7.06 60 time. Athletic stance, smooth load back to a slight arm bar, and bat wraps on load. Starts open and strides slightly closed after a small leg lift and toe tap, but still gets hips through finishing lower half with some aggression. Short and quick swing getting barrel through the zone with the path having some uphill tilt to it. Exit velo was 81 mph. Plays very loose and fluid showing some quick twitch tendencies in the infield. Hands are smooth and soft at reception with a clean exchange. Continues to show the ability to make a variety of plays throwing out of multiple slots with ease. Position velocity was 79 mph. Jesus continues to impress on both sides of the ball as he is growing into his athletic body and adding strength.

Mid Atlantic Challenge 11/4/2018

Athletic projectable frame at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Hits from a taller slgihtly open set up at the plate. Shorter, leg kick load squaring up to hitting position. Gets out of balance at times, leg kick closes off at times. Short swing keeping hands inside ball with bat speed and smooth swing. Took some nice cuts during BP. Acthletic actions defensviely. Fluid footwork with good hands and clean exchange to release. Throws from multiple angles, nice life on ball. accurate throws. 2021 to keep an eye on down the road, especially as he continues to get stronger.

Short to ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, slightly uphill swing path, line drive swing, some strength at contact point, has power potential as he gets stronger, exit velocity was 80. At short, clean feet, rounds ball and fields with above average hands and a wider base. Works through ball to a clean exchange. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 74.

Del Valle is 6-0 and has a lanky frame with a lot of projection left to it, he hits from the right side from an open athletic stance. Strides on line, loads back, good rhythm to his swing, hips rotate completely with some explosiveness and he maintains good balance and a firm base after hip rotation. Short to the ball, works uphill through contact, showed a pull preference, keeps hands inside well, exit velocity was 79. At short, gets body behind ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a loose arm action, infield velocity was 77.

Del Valle is 5-11 with a lanky frame, he hits from the right side from an open athletic stance. Short stride on line, smooth load back with a wrap, some rhythm to his swing. Hips rotate completely, has some balance to swing. Very short to ball, level line drive swing, showed very good approach working gap to gap. Exit velocity was 78, has potential to grow into at least doubles power. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with a wide base and soft hands. Clean exchange, working through the ball to throw from a low three-quarters arm slot with a loose arm action, infield velocity was 75. On the mound, the mound throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a longer free arm action and easier effort. Shoulders level and closed, lands a bit open with a fall off finish. Fastball was 71-74 touching 76 with some armside run to it. Curveball had gradual 12/6 break and some armspeed to it, running 62-63. Change-up was straight at 63-65.

8.12.17 - 5-foot-11, 150 pounds he is athletic, running a 7.83 60 yard dash. The right handed hitter has a high back elbow and starts slightly open. There is present bat speed with a level, line drive path and should develop and grow into some power as he becomes stronger and learns how to get better usage from the lower half. Defensively, he works upright with some stiffness but works under control with quality, soft hands. On the mound, he has a high leg kick and a short arm action. Fastball worked 72-75 mph and curveball worked 64-68 mph.
