1/27/19

Strength is present in 6 foot, 205-pound frame.  Switch hitter.  Balanced setup from the right side with a small load and quiet hands and barrel.  Short bat path with a line drive approach, keeping his barrel in the zone.  Slightly open setup from the left side with more lift in the swing.  Fluid from both sides with above average bat speed.  Solid line-drive approach with feel for the barrel.  Should continue to switch hit in the future. High barrel awareness from both sides.  Exit velocity recorded at 84 mph from the left side and 85 mph from the right.  Average hands on the infield, with some stiffness in the lower half.  Good pre-contact touchdown.  Fluid feet to the ball.  Tends to catch off his right hip.  Clean exchanges, transferring near the right shoulder, with a short arm action, throwing from an over the top slot.  Accurate arm with carry, that topped at 83 mph across the diamond.  Recorded a 4.11 in the 30-yard dash, 4.44 in the 5-10-5, and 8-10 in the standing broad jump.

01.28.18
6 feet, 180 pound athletic build. Room to continue to add strength with length in the limbs.  Switch hitter has strength and feel from both sides of the plate. Recorded an exit velocity of 87mph from both sides. Works balanced and open in his setup.  Smooth, short stride getting his lower half through the ball. Strong lower half generates above average bat speed. He shows good barrel control, from the right side with a line drive approach. Maintains balance in swing and his more fluid from the left side.  Repeats the launch position and is quiet prior to firing the barrel from both sides.  Solid actions on the infield playing through balls with fluid footwork and clean exchanges. He shows athleticism recording times at 3.96 in the 30yard dash, 4.10 in the 5-10-5 agility test, and 10-1 in the standing broad jump.

10.21.17
Athletic frame that can continue to add strength at 6-foot, 170 pounds.  Ran a 7.00 sixty with a good burst off the line.  Switch hitter may provide future power with exit velocities of 87 mph from the right side and 90 mph from the left side.  Athletic stance from both sides.  Works to stay simple and quiet.  Left handed swing worked off the barrel more in this BP round.  Good rhythm from both sides.  On the infield, provides soft hands and fluid feet.  Plays through the ball with clean actions.  Transitions the baseball with ease to a long arm action and high-3/4 slot.  Advanced accuracy on several different types of throws.  Good carry while at 74 mph across the diamond.

08.19.17
Big upside to the 6-foot, 175 pound athlete.  Exit velocity from the right side peaked at 87, and 88 from the left side.  Consistent barrels with the ball jumping off the bat.  Strength is present, with quickness, and the frame suggests more will be coming.  From the right side, works balanced in a wide stance.  Short stride.  Whippy and quick with the bat through the zone.  Uphill leverage and a pull tendency.  Barrel after barrel after barrel.  Similar finish on the left side working with a direct bat path to the ball, using the pull side gap to hit line drives.  Defensively, works to play through balls with active feet and average hands.  Clean transitions to a short arm swing.  Some stiffness in the high-3/4 release.  Good carry with average accuracy at 78 across the diamond.
