The Arizona Class of 2019 prospect rankings have been updated after a busy spring and first half of summer. There has been significant change at the top with RHP Jose Dicochea rising to number one after we we able to evaluate him in a showcase and game setting early this summer. The Arizona commit currently possesses the best combination of present stuff in game action and physical projection as we recently saw him touch 93 with a wipeout curveball and elite arm speed. Slotting right behind him is the breakout prospect of the summer, RHP/OF Nick Wallerstedt, an accomplished quarterback who has always been one of the top athletes in the state, took his game to another level at the recent 2019 Top Prospect Games, touching 94 mph with his fastball and with a slider that projects as plus. Wallerstedt also has all the tools to excel as an OF if his bat continues to develop and with that level of athleticism I wouldn't bet against it.
