The Skinny:
At 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, Rosenthal is a physically advanced left-handed hitting catcher and first baseman. Rosenthal made an impact at the varsity level at New Trier as a sophomore last spring. He features a strong arm and power potential at the plate.

Scouting Report:
6-foot-3, 215-pound, left-handed hitting catcher with a strong build. In the field has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Some accuracy with carry on throws. Athletic fielder with average hands, and a clean exchange. Popped 1.92-2.09 and threw 82 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from a wide base with an athletic setup. Minimal load with a heel lift stride and an explosive lower half. Power hitter who sprays line drives gap to gap. Short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first in 4.32. (From Underclass Invitational in January)

The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
