Toledo commit. Currently ranked No. 29 in the state, and standing in at a long-levered 6-foot-3, 175-pounds. Arsich batted leadoff and started in center field for the Knights. A loose and fluid mover in the outfield, Arsich showed natural and comfortable actions in the outfield, getting clean reads on fly balls; covering ground to both his left and right, while also showing range over the shoulder. The right-handed hitter uses his long levers to create extension out front off of a slightly uphill bat path. He hit the ball hard at times, using the whole field, showing the ability to take the ball where it’s pitched. Arsich finished the day 1-for-3 with a HBP, two runs scored, and a stolen base.

OF Liam Arsich (Lincoln-Way Central, 2025) is a premier athlete with a lean, lanky 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame who is just scratching the surface of his future self. Arsich ran the fastest 60 time on Team Illinois (6.57) and also had the highest max run speed (21.4 mph). He swiped a bag both in game one and game two, scoring a run as well. Offensively, Arsich flashes twitch and works to stay connected with his long-levers. He showed a knack for line drive, gap-to-gap contact, and is comfortable using the whole field. His most impressive showing came in game three, where Arsich went 2-for-4 with a loud double into the left-center gap, brought a run home, and he showed off his noticeable arm strength from the outfield (90 mph) by throwing a runner out at home to end an inning. Arsich is another high-end name to follow from this event.

7/18/23

Perhaps the day’s biggest standout: OF Liam Arsich (Lincoln-Way Central, 2025). Standing at a highly projectable 6-foot-3, 160-pounds, Arsich glided effortlessly to a 6.68 60-yard dash, reaching nearly 21 mph of run speed with a 1.60 10-yard split. For his size and age, Arsich controls his long levers well, staying short to the baseball and peppering line drives to all fields throughout his round. As he continues to add strength, Arsich should start to impact the baseball at a higher rate and that, coupled with his present feel to hit, will only greatly improve his production at the plate. Defensively, Arsich moved comfortably around the outfield, reaching back for a 90 mph max on his firmest bullet. He continues to prove himself as a high-follow prospect in the Illinois’ 2025 class.

2/21/22

RHP/OF Liam Arsich (Lincoln-Way Central, 2025) looks to be an up-and-coming arm to keep an eye on. At 6-foot-2, 145-pounds he’s long and slender with a quick arm for his age. Already sitting 77-79 mph he looks to carry a ton of upside with the length in his frame, lack of present physicality and exceptional arm speed for his age. There’s clearly more in the tank as he fills out his already athletic frame (7.01 runner in the 60; 84 mph from the outfield).

7/07/21

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-0, 135-pounds. Long, loose-bodied frame.
Delivery: Starts with feet staggered (front foot close to third base), moves down the mound efficiently with a drop and drive lower-half.
Arm Action: RH. Loose/efficient arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T80, 77-80 mph. Flashed arm-side life. T1830, 1689 average rpm.

CH: 68-69 mph.  Thrown with fastball intent, mainly straight.

Hit: RHH. Wide base, short stride, minimal lower half. Path is short to the baseball with natural lift, quick hands.
Power: 82.17 max exit velocity, averaged 75.12 mph. 277’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 79 mph. Loose/whippy high 3/4 slot, quick arm.
Defense: Athletic outfield actions with a clean transfer.
Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.
