Name: Connor Peplow

Graduating Class: 2017

Position: RHP

School: Plainfield North

Height: 6-1

Weight: 155

The Skinny:
A late add to Team Illinois, Peplow emerged at July’s Class of 2017 Showcase as a high-interest prospect. At 6-foot-1, 155 pounds, Peplow is a lanky, long-limbed right-handed pitcher with plenty of room for physical development. His arm works athletically from a high-3/4 slot, with a fastball that topped at 88 mph. Peplow’s 72-74 slider also showed promise, as it occasionally flashed sharp action. Although he is competing at the Future Games as a pitcher, he also showed well as an outfielder. Peplow ran a 7.12 60 and was clocked at 87 mph from the outfield.

The Future Games:

The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
